These terms govern your use of the GovReady AI Governance Companion at companion.governanceready.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

Free service

Companion is provided free of charge for personal and professional use, including embedding in third-party AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and similar.

Not legal advice

Companion produces paraphrased plain-language summaries to help you understand the EU AI Act and related EU law. It is not legal advice. Always verify against EUR-Lex (CELEX 32024R1689) and consult a qualified lawyer before making compliance decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the Service. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape at scale, or use automated agents to flood the API. Do not impersonate other users, send unlawful or harmful content, or attempt to compromise the underlying systems. We may rate-limit or block clients that breach these rules.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time without notice.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GovReady is not liable for any damages, loss of profit or data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Intellectual property

Original content (summaries, recommendations, structured data) is © GovReady. Cited primary law belongs to the European Union and is reused under EUR-Lex terms. Third-party analytical references (e.g. artificialintelligenceact.eu) belong to their respective publishers — Companion only links to them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic.

We may update these terms over time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
